Purified Tallow

Our Purified Tallow is lovingly and patiently rendered from suet harvested from free range, pasture raised, prayerfully harvested cows living natural lives high up in the White Mountains of Arizona. 

We slowly render the suet into tallow over 24 hours, and then purify it with salt water 2-3 times, leaving you with pure tallow that is ready for cooking, baking, candle making, or luxurious hydration for your face and body. Tallow generally has a shelf life of several years if properly stored.

Note: Tallow that is naturally purified may retain a unique aroma - because we are not using any harsh chemicals in its production. Some people love it, some not so much. If you purchase our tallow and do not love the smell, use it for cooking instead of in skin care.

Additionally, pasture rased and grass fed cows produce a different type of tallow, and the texture and consistency may vary - even though we use the same process every time. Sometimes the tallow is very solid, sometimes it is semisolid.
