Sometimes we find ourselves living or working in a structure that may seem to contain energies we find uncomfortable or problematic, and therefore have a negative impact on our experience of living in within that space. These energies can be remnants from traumatic events that occurred on the property, spirits who may have lived and/or died in the space and have not been able to detach from the experience and are stuck, or even from objects containing these negative energies that have been brought into the home. Usually we call these hauntings or possessions, and when they arise the energies may need to be approached with forceful kindness, or assisted in crossing over with compassion. Occasionally the presences are more persistent or dangerous, and in these cases more intense work is required to create a living/working space that feels secure and cleansed of energetic obstacles.

I will begin by using sacred plants, song, and instrumentation to facilitate a shamanic journey, within which I will connect with the spirit of the home and diagnose the concern. From there, the ceremony could include depossession, extraction, curse unraveling, and psychopomp. Usually it will be best if you are not onsite during this work, but there may be circumstances where your presence is important for the ceremony to come to completion.

Once we have shifted the energy of your home, I will bless it and seal it with sacred herbs so that your intentions are preserved and your space once again feels like where you belong.
